The Oak & Ivory Kitchen
This project combined a remodel with an expanded footprint to transform a cramped, outdated kitchen into a luxurious, functional space. Maximizing room for cooking and entertaining was just as important as creating a refined aesthetic, so we removed select walls and expanded the kitchen area to create an open, flowing layout.
A traditional feel was central to the homeowner’s vision. Dark wood flooring and a matching center island provide warmth and grounding, while the raised-panel cabinet faces reinforce classic character. To balance the richness of the darker elements, the countertops and upper cabinetry were finished in a soft, light gray — subtle enough to avoid stark contrast, yet warm enough to complement the overall palette.
The result is a harmonious blend of light and dark tones, producing a welcoming, traditional kitchen that feels spacious, elegant, and perfectly tailored for both everyday living and entertaining.
